SS-31

SS-31 (elamipretide) is a synthetic, cell-permeable tetrapeptide that concentrates at the inner mitochondrial membrane and associates with cardiolipin. It is studied in vitro in mitochondrial-bioenergetics and oxidative-stress research as a reference standard for laboratory use only.
